Queen’s Tower Society at Imperial

Queen’s Tower Society at Imperial

Background
The Queen’s Tower Society is a membership circle for friends and alumni of Imperial College London who have pledged a gift to the College in their will. The society is named after the iconic tower that can be seen at their South Kensington campus.

Brief
Imperial College London asked us to create a graphic element to unify and distinguish any legacy giving materials, and to represent the Queen’s Tower Society.

Result
We drew a simplified version of the tower and worked with a production company to produce small hexagonal pin badges which are given out to new members upon joining.

We then used this illustration across their printed collateral which included a welcome pack, lunch event materials, joining form and letterhead. The materials needed to look and feel high-quality to attract the wealthy target audience, so the welcome brochure was printed on Mohawk paper with flashes of silver foil which echoed the silver areas of the pin badges.
