With the rise of smart speakers in homes, the Church of England’s digital team developed an Alexa skill to allow users to ask questions, request prayers and find out information about local church events and services.
Create a mini campaign with the digital team to launch the Alexa skill to the wider organisation and the general public.
A selection of social media posts demonstrating a range of questions users can ask, encouraging people to enable the skill and interact with the Church in a new way. The campaign also included a desk drop postcard to raise awareness of the launch within the organisation itself. In the first year the Church of England skill was asked more than 75,000 questions.
